Symcor was a proud sponsor of the Global Association of Women in Payments’ 2021 Canada Symposium that was held from September 21 to 23. With the headlining theme of - Looking Forward: The New Payments Generation - the virtual event brought together women leaders to inspire, guide, and lead the change to support diversity and gender parity for Canadian women in payments.
The three-day symposium featured panel discussions to raise ideas and thoughts around payments innovations, payments modernization, shaping the future of work, security in the digital age, and dove into payments trends of the future.
Day 1 included an awards presentation to celebrate and recognize women succeeding in the payments and fintech industry, paving the way for the next generation of women leaders. Chameli Naraine, President and CEO of Symcor received the 2021 Social Impact Award.
